How to play
- The board has two rows of six pits; the row nearest to you is yours. Each pit starts with four seeds.
- On your turn, pick one of your pits. Its seeds are sown one by one, counter-clockwise, into the following pits. A pit with twelve or more seeds is skipped when the sowing comes round.
- If the last seed lands in your opponent's row and makes a pit hold two or three seeds, you capture them. The pits before it in your opponent's row are captured too, as long as they also hold two or three.
- A move that would take every seed your opponent has captures nothing (a "grand slam").
- When your opponent's row is empty you must give them seeds. If you cannot, the game ends and each player keeps the seeds in their own row.
- The first to capture 25 seeds wins; 24 each is a draw. If a position comes back three times, the game ends and each player keeps the seeds in their own row.
